Efficiency and timeliness are what best describe the wedding planning process with Itunu and Ofotsu. The lovely duo contracted my wedding planning services 8 months to their wedding day and it was a lively and beautiful journey.
Another intercultural marriage – (Itunu is Nigerian and Ofotsu is Ghanaian) which provided the couple the opportunity to blend aspects of their culture and lives throughout the planning process. The couple trusted my professional counsel on most matters which made it easy to take the stress off their shoulders. Itunu was a DIY decor bride which gave us both the chance to work on her wedding theme and design – one which reflected her love for most things rustic, greenery and simplicity.
Their wedding was a beautiful display of aspects of both Nigerian and Ghanaian culture with a mix of music from both cultures, Nigerian traditional cuisine, and guest favours made with traditional Ghanaian Kente material. Being hosts at heart, Itunu and Ofotsu took the time to greet all their guests moving from table to table and ensuring that no one was left out. It was a beautiful wedding with a display of warmth, colours, and love.
