Of course you can do the planning yourself and that is part of the fun! But it also can be a hassle: checking out many sources for each supplier category, making sure all the details are in place and worrying about whether you’re getting the best deal and whether everything will turn out alright.


At Kauna Events we have the training and experience to make it all come together while you relax and enjoy the romance and festivities of your wedding. Together with you, we will prepare and coordinate the details of your wedding, assisting you through the final process. We allow you to take as big of a role in your wedding planning as you wish, while aiding with the small details that will make the day unforgettable.

A venue coordinator works for the venue; their job is to answer your questions about the venue and assist you with your venue layout. They are someone you may contact if you need extra reassurance about the details of your wedding venue, however, their loyalty is to the venue.


In summary, a venue provided wedding coordinator simply confirms details which only concern the venue’s best interests. Their job does not include all the other details that go into planning your wedding.


A wedding planner, on the other hand, is involved from the very beginning of the planning process. Your wedding planner will handle each detail of your wedding from start to finish – everything from finding a venue and the appropriate suppliers to actually being there on your wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly and as planned. Weddings & Events

Your wedding budget is largely determined by your number of wedding guests. In Toronto, the most elegant weddings typically cost anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000.

At Kauna Events we pride ourselves on our ability to work with our clients by helping them achieve the wedding of their dreams as their budget is able to cater to.

As a primarily professional wedding planning service, we do not specialize in decorating or designing services. However, we provide personal item set up services to couples in whatever wedding package they purchase. During our final consultation we will ask you to compile a list of personal items you would like our team to set up and style on your behalf. This includes placecards, table menus, table numbers, favours, simple napkin folds, seating chart, signing table, sweets table, cake table, and gift table. We request these items during your ceremony rehearsal.

Absolutely! Though Toronto remains our home base, we have planned and coordinated weddings for clients in cities outside Toronto; including Hamilton, Montreal, Dallas (Texas) and Abuja (Nigeria).

You have no need to worry because planning wedding outside a planner’s city of residence is tantamount to planning a destination wedding. If you are interested in having us plan your wedding in any city other than Toronto, feel free to contact us to get the ball rolling!

Yes we can and we have. Kauna Events has planned with clients living in the U.S.A, Nigeria and cities other than Toronto.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Although accommodation and travel fees are extra of course, our fundamental service fees remain the same. It would be a pleasure to travel for your day.
